Today, I am making a feather duster costume for a coworker’s daughter, who is performing in the school play. Traditionally, the role of Babette from Beauty and the Beast is played as a flirtatious French maid, and I have to be careful not to make the costume too sexy because my friend’s daughter is 13.
That makes the total of the past 3 days’ creative endeavors: 1 tequila glazed pork tenderloin, 2 knitted scarves, 2 mediocre drawings on my Sketchbook app, 1 Babette costume, and I have purchased the materials to frame peas, dry beans, and rice for a design project with a different coworker.
I miss running. If my neck doesn’t get better soon, maybe I’ll start an etsy store where I sell EVERYTHING THAT CAN BE MADE IN ANY WAY.
