I keep reminding her that I sell soup so I don’t get snow days, and the worse the weather is, the busier and more stressful my job becomes. Once, she rolled her eyes and said that nothing that bad would actually happen if I took a snow day once in a while. But it would, because my peer, the other me, is on maternity leave until March, so my department consists of me and two temps. We had this conversation after I had just worked until 7:30pm.
Some people understand responsibility, and some people don’t.
